Virecana – laxatives
Basti – medicated enema
Nasya – nasal administrations
Rakta moksana – blood-letting

• The third step is to treat jataragni. Jataragni controls our digestion and nourishment. It not only helps the formation of nutritive fluid (ahara rasa) and physical elements (doshas) but also the tissues (dhatus) and waste (malas).

• In ayurveda, rasayana medicines are used which maintain enzymes and metabolism in peak condition, and enhance the generation of new cells and tissues. Rasayana medicines not only prevent but also alleviate conditions associated with cancer, and increase ojas to boost immunity and strengthen cells and body.

Otto Warburg won the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1932. for his his discovery that cancer was anaerobic. This means that cancer occurs in the absence of oxygen. When the body becomes acidic by dropping below pH 7.0, oxygen is driven out of the body thereby, providing the necessary conditions for cancer, according to Nobel Prize winner Otto Warburg.

The blood is supplied the crucial minerals required to maintain an alkaline pH of 7.4., when adequate mineral consumption is in the diet. The body is forced to rob other body areas to pay the blood, when insufficient mineral consumption is in the diet. The body removes crucial minerals, such as calcium, from the saliva, kidneys, spinal fluids, liver, etc., to maintain the blood at pH 7.4.

Rubidiumand Cesium Cancer Treatment

Dr. Otto Warburg published a Nobel Prize winning paper describing the environment of the cancer cell, over 75 years ago. Adverse change happens to a normal cell, when it no longer can take up oxygen. The cell reverts to a primitive nutritional program to sustain itself, in the absence of oxygen. Converting the glucose, by fermentation. The lactic acid, which is produced by fermentation, lowers the cell pH and destroys the ability of DNA and RNA to control cell division. The cancer cells then begin to multiply unchecked.

The naturally occurring alkaline element cesium has been shown to affect the cancer cell in 2 ways. Firstly, cesium limits the cellular uptake of glucose, therefore starving the cancer cell and diminishing fermentation. Secondly, cesium also raises the cell pH to the range of 8.0 and this neutralizes the weak lactic acid and stopped pain within 12 to 24 hours.

Mass spectrographic and isotope studies had shown, by the late 1970-s, that tumor cells exhibit a preference for certain alkaline minerals: rubidium, potassium, and especially cesium. Specific antioxidants i.e. Zinc and vitamin C, were shown to enhance the uptake of these alkaline minerals by the cell of the cancer.

Sartori (1984), in preliminary research, found no response when cesium was given alone, over a period of three years, to 50 patients. But when cesium was given to the patients along with minerals such as potassium, magnesium and selenium and some chelating agents and vitamins, the patients experienced a 50% recovery from primary breast, pancreas, prostate, lung, pancreas, lung, and liver cancer and lymphoma, adenocancer of the gall bladder and Ewing sarcoma of the pelvis.

It turns out that in areas of the world where there is a high cesium content in the soil, cancer is virtually unknown: the Hunza of North Pakistan, Hopi Indians of Arizona and the Indians of Central and South America.

Fighting Cancer With Genistein/Isoflavones

The evidence that links soy-rich diet to cancer prevention is growing all the time. People who live in countries where soy products are regularly consumed are less likely to develop certain cancers. In Asia for example breast cancer mortality rates are much lower.

Women in the United States are 4 times more likely to die from breast cancer that women in Japan, because soy products are consumed less in the US. Soyfoods help protect against several types of cancer, including colon, lung, stomach, rectal and prostate cancer.

The main reason why this is so, could be that soyfoods are rich in compounds called phytochemicals. Isoflavones, which are a particular family of phytochemicals, may fight cancer in a wide variety of ways. Isoflavones are found in significant amounts only in soyfoods such as soy milk, tofu, tempeh and textured soy protein and of course soybeans.

One isoflavone, Genistein, has captured the most attention. Genistein is a chemical compound that is found only in soy in our daily foods. Dr. Lothar Schweigerer from Heidelberg University found out that genistein blocks an event called angiogenesis.

Angiogenesis is the growth of new blood vessels that feed malignant tumors. When the tumor grows larger than 1 mm., it must foster the growth of new blood vessels to support the tumor[ growth. Tumors only thrive when tiny networks of new blood vessels supply them with oxygen and nutrients.

When genistein is added to live cells of liver cancer in laboratory test tubes, they stop growing. More than 100 studies on a variety of cancer cells have demonstrated the effectiveness of genistein. Geinstein fights cancer in many other ways as well. Scientists believe that specific enzymes in the body convert normal cells to cancer cells. Genistein has been shown to inhibit these enzymes just as some cancer drugs.

Genistein may also work against cancers like breast and prostate cancer that depend on hormones to grow. Genistein interferes with these hormones, therefore inhibiting the development of cancer cells and tumors.
